2、 Competition projects
（1） Single events: 50, 100, 200, 400 meter freestyle, 50, 100, 200 meter backstroke, 50, 100, 200 meter breaststroke, 50, 100, 200 meter butterfly, 200, 400 meter individual medley, 4X50 meter freestyle relay, 4X50 meter medley relay, 4 × 100m freestyle relay, 4 × 100m medley relay and basic technical individual events (10 year old group);
（2） Versatile: 4 swimming style all-around competitions (10-13 year old group, men's 14 year old group), medley all-around competitions (10-13 year old group, men's 14 year old group), main event all-around competitions (women's 14 year old group, 15 year old group), basic technical all-around competitions (7-10 year old group).
The competition events for each age group can be found in Attachment 2.
3、 Participation method
（1） Age group regulations for participation
7-year-old group: born in 2011;
8-year-old group: born in 2010;
9-year-old group: born in 2009;
10 year old group: born in 2008;
11 year old group: born in 2007;
12 year old group: born in 2006;
13 year old group: born in 2005;
14 year old group: born in 2004;
15 year old group: born in 2003;
16-18 year old group: born between 2002 and 2000;
（2） Non professional registered youth athletes who are in good health condition (without any diseases that are not suitable for participating in swimming competitions) can freely register for competition through personal, provincial, club, and school means, including mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, overseas Chinese, and Chinese;
（3） Athletes must present valid identification documents (which must include their own photo) and an official competition certificate to participate in the competition;
（4） If participating in the competition in the form of representative units, there is no limit on the number of athletes who can register, and the relay is limited to one team. Athletes are not allowed to participate in cross group competitions;
（5） Each participating unit/individual is limited to one team leader, and the number of other officials (coaches, staff, etc.) is registered in a ratio of 4:1 based on the number of athletes participating. That is, 1-4 athletes are limited to one official, 5-8 athletes are limited to two officials, and so on.
（6） The organizing committee of the competition has the right to conduct bone age testing on participating athletes, and the bone age testing funds shall be borne by themselves;
（7） Any athlete who refuses to undergo doping testing cannot participate in the competition, their achievements and rankings will be cancelled, and they will be punished in accordance with relevant regulations;
（8） Athletes who do not meet the age group requirements for this competition and those who are within the professional registration period are not allowed to participate. Once discovered, all results of the athlete will be cancelled and they will be prohibited from participating in the competition hosted by our center that year;
（9） All participating athletes must sign the "Athlete Voluntary Participation Responsibility Letter" (see registration website for download) and upload it to complete the online registration.
4、 Competition methods
（1） Adopting the latest swimming competition rules approved by the China Swimming Association;
（2） All age groups will compete together according to the competition items (except for basic technical competitions), and their rankings will be admitted according to their age groups;
（3） All competition events will only have a one-time final;
（4） According to the registration status of the competition, the basic technical all-around competition and the 400 meter freestyle competition in the 7-9 age group can use manual timing, with 2 athletes arranged for each lane;
（5） The 7-9 year old group will only set up basic technical all-around competitions and be admitted to all-around rankings, without taking individual rankings;
（6） Athletes in the 10-year-old group must participate in basic technical all-around competitions, and can also participate in one more all-around competition, with no limit on individual events;
（7） Each athlete in the 11-14 age group is limited to one all-around event, with no limit on individual events;
（8） The equipment used in the 7-9-year-old group's basic technical all-around competition: A-shaped boards and tubes are provided by the competition organizing committee; The fins are provided by the participating athletes themselves and must meet the specified specifications. The diameter of the fins (from the front line of the fins to the outer edge of the fins) should be less than 4 centimeters.
（9） For athletes whose bone age test exceeds the standard, all competition results will not be ranked, recorded in the score book, or issued with a score certificate;
（10） Those who engage in fraud will have all competition results cancelled and will be dealt with according to the circumstances; （11） Punishment
1. If athletes abstain, their eligibility to participate in all events will be cancelled;
2. During the competition, athletes who abstain due to illness must present a hospital diagnosis certificate to be exempted from the above punishment;
3. Athletes who fail to arrive at the competition area within the specified time to obtain their official entry certificate will be deemed to have automatically forfeited the competition and will be treated as forfeited by the organizing committee.
4. If an athlete fails to complete the entire race or intentionally swims slowly, their eligibility to participate in all remaining events will be cancelled, and all competition results obtained will be cancelled;
5. Athletes are not allowed to wear paddle palms during warm-up training, otherwise their eligibility to participate in the competition will be cancelled. Athletes who cause harm to others as a result will be disqualified from participating, and all competition results obtained will be cancelled. They will also be prohibited from participating in competitions organized by our center in the same year and the following year;
6. When athletes warm up during training, they must swim and sprint as required, otherwise their eligibility to participate will be cancelled;
5、 Admissions and Rewards
（1） All competition projects will admit the top 8 and award certificates. If the number of participants/teams is less than 8 people/team (including 8 people/team), only the top 3 will be admitted; If there are only 3 participants/teams, 1 will be deducted for admission; If there are less than 3 participants per team, the competition for this project will be cancelled; Those with less than 3 participants in the all-around event will not be admitted to the ranking.
（2） All participating representative units will calculate the total team score, and the top 8 will be awarded trophies.
（3） The dynamic ranking of various competition results will be updated in real time. Participants are requested to log in to the Swim.shuruitec.com website to check;
（4） Scoring method
1. All projects will be scored according to the International Swimming Federation scoring system;
2. The ranking of the all-around competition is determined by dividing the total score of the all-around by the sum of the items in that all-around competition;
3. The total score of the representative unit group is ranked by adding up the accumulated scores of each category; If the scores are equal, the first ranked multiple will be ranked first, and if they are further equal, the second ranked multiple will be ranked first, and so on. All individual competition events are scored based on rankings of 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1, while relay events are scored based on rankings of 18, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, and 2.
6、 Registration and check-in
（1） Please log in to the Swim.shuruitec.com website and enter the "U Series" section to register and register. The Online Registration Operation Guide can be downloaded from the homepage of the registration website. （2） All representative teams participating in the competition in the form of units must print out the application form, stamp the official seal of the unit, and mail the original application form to the competition area before September 10th after the online registration is completed. Otherwise, the organizing committee will not exchange it for a formal competition certificate. （4） All participants are required to report to the competition area on September 14, 2018 (please refer to the Supplementary Notice for location).
7、 Requirements for Order and Gradebook
（1） The order book must indicate the athlete's year of birth and the name of the supervising coach;
（2） The grade book must have the signature of the presiding judge, otherwise the grade will be invalid.
8、 The 2018 National Youth Swimming U-Series Competition will update the dynamic ranking of each competition item in real-time based on the progress of each station's competition area. After the completion of all sub station competition areas, those aged 10-15 who rank first in each individual and all-around competition will have the opportunity to participate in the 2018 National Youth Swimming U-Series Competition Finals. The specific competition methods are detailed in the Finals Competition Regulations (to be notified separately).
